About us

Andhrapradesh American Association (AAA) is a non-profit organization formed in the USA by Telugu people to promote Andhrapradesh's core culture and heritage. Incorporated as a charitable organization, it aims to preserve Telugu traditions and maintain a strong sense of loyalty toward the community.

Why AAA?

We all know and probably most of us, if not everyone have been in at some point and capacity have been part of “Telugu Associations” and continue to do. That brings in another question why one more association?

The current Association are doing a great job of bringing our people together at a cadence of yearly and is celebrated as a cultural Event Rather Festival of Culture. AAA is formed to fill in that gap and fill in the gap in our hearts.

Let’s go back to our childhood memories and remember a few festivals viz. Bhogi, Sankranti, Ugadi and Sri Rama Navami. They were all celebrated with such togetherness in villages, and the entire village use to come together to celebrate them together and share the love, warmth and richness of the meaning and culture in those festivals. We all cherish those moments and would love to get back those few moments if not all stepping away from our daily grind.

AAA is not truly an Association but more an extended family that is coming together to celebrate our Culture and pass it to our kids.

We all have come to America for various reasons and at heart, we all are tied to our culture and discipline, and it is what defines us and who we are. We should be proud of what we are and what roots we have come from and the culture we have.

The food we used to have at our festivals is long gone and we are in a time where sweet stands for Cake or Chocolate and food stands for Samosa /Biryani.

The traditional food we all grew up having had a rich culture and healthy factor to them and we all lounge for great traditional food and its greatness. We can go on and on and if possible, go back in time to get those moments back. Since that is not possible lets at least come together to respect the culture, celebrate, cherish and treasure it because if we don’t then who will?

Please join our family if you share the ideas and be there for
“one for all and all for one”
